Details

Bring a corrugated land drain into an existing 110mm pipe run, such as a pipe to a soakaway, without cutting the pipe and fitting a junction. Bore a hole in the top or side of the smooth 110mm pipe, apply silicone sealant round the hole, seat the saddle and strap it down with two 450mm x 7.6mm zip ties (not included). Then push the corrugated land drain into the socket. Choose 60mm or 80mm. The sizes are in the table.

How to fit

  1. 1. Mark the hole on the smooth 110mm pipe.

  2. 60mm
    80mm

    2. Bore a 60mm hole (70mm for the 80mm saddle) with a hole saw.

  3. 3. Apply silicone sealant round the hole before fitting.

  4. 4. Seat the saddle and fix with two 450mm x 7.6mm zip ties (not included).

  5. 5. Push the corrugated land drain into the socket.

Benefits

  • Joins 60mm or 80mm corrugated land drain pipe into the side of a smooth 110mm pipe, without cutting in a junction.
  • Bore a hole in the 110mm pipe: 60mm for the 60mm saddle, 70mm for the 80mm saddle; a hole saw of that size is recommended.
  • The saddle sits over the hole, and the land drain slides into its socket up to the pipe stop. The branch comes off at 90°.
  • Held on with two 450mm x 7.6mm zip ties through the two tunnels in the saddle (zip ties not included). Apply silicone sealant round the hole before fitting.
  • Socket 40mm deep, bore 60.3mm (60mm) or 80.3mm (80mm). Overall above the pipe: 60mm saddle 100 x 66mm, standing 48mm; 80mm saddle 120 x 85.5mm, standing 53mm.
  • Black PETG, made in the UK. For garden land drainage, not foul or soil pipe.
  • Fits smooth 110mm pipe only, not corrugated 110mm. Pipe sizes vary by brand, so check fit before ordering. Pipe and zip ties not included; sold as a single saddle.
